Here is a simple and unique way to add shelves to most any wall.

This listing is for 2 leather strap shelf hangers that will support a wide variety of shelf sizes.

The straps are 24" total. When hung on the wall, the height of the straps from the bottom of the shelf to the to of the strap will vary depending on the width and thickness of the shelf you use. They have a metal eyelet in them where you put the screws or nails through to hang them. They only require one screw or nail per strap. Gravity does the rest! The wood is not connected to the straps, just cradled by them.
